What's New on Kinderpedia? Features Launched in 2024

"2024 marks a new chapter in our mission to empower schools and kindergartens with the most advanced digital solutions. The new features launched on Kinderpedia not only simplify the management of educational activities, but also offer innovative tools that strengthen the community of teachers, parents, and students. These updates reflect our commitment to delivering meaningful and relevant improvements for those who entrust us with the education and development of their children." Evelina Necula, CMO and Founder Kinderpedia.

Quick Messages – Simplified, Personalized Communication

Efficient communication is key to a strong relationship between schools and families, and Quick Messages is here to redefine the process. This feature introduces advanced options for targeted messaging, enabling teachers and administrators to deliver information exactly where it’s needed.

For instance, in schools, messages can be directed separately to parents, students, or both groups. In kindergartens, communication focuses primarily on parents and educators, eliminating potential confusion. Additionally, responses can be managed efficiently—either as private replies or visible to all recipients. Missteps? No problem. Messages can be edited or deleted with a notification sent to parents.

This system not only saves time but also ensures clear and error-free communication—a solution we’re proud to offer and one our community has long deserved.

News Feed Individual Post – Taking Communication to the Next Level

To bring parents closer to their children’s progress, Kinderpedia introduces News Feed Individual Post. Teachers can now create posts dedicated to a single child or a small group, delivering a truly personalized experience.

Whether it’s a picture of a child’s activity or a note about their achievements, parents receive the information directly in their preferred language, thanks to automatic translation. This level of personalization not only enhances communication but also builds stronger relationships between institutions and families.

Automated Absence Excuse – Simplified through Automation

We've introduced the Automated Absence Excuse feature to reduce administrative tasks and save valuable time. Parents can now report absences directly in the app, and if these are submitted on time, the system automatically excuses them, with updates reflected in billing as well.

This feature streamlines processes while helping to optimize resources, such as meal planning and activity scheduling.

Electronic Gradebook – Insights and Rankings at Your Fingertips

Last but not least, the Electronic Gradebook has been enhanced with a dedicated tab for statistics and rankings. Teachers and administrators can quickly access key information such as the class’s overall average, the number of absences, and other relevant data. This feature provides a clear overview of student performance, helping teachers identify both strengths and areas that need more attention.

Breaking Language Barriers: Auto-Translate in 40+ Languages

This year, Kinderpedia achieved a remarkable milestone with the introduction of the Auto-Translate Feature, designed to foster inclusivity and accessibility for school communities around the globe. Now, every message, announcement, or update shared on the platform can be instantly translated into over 40 languages with just one click. For instance, a teacher’s message in English can effortlessly appear in Spanish, Arabic, or any other supported language, ensuring all parents feel valued and informed. Whether it’s a school newsletter, event invitation, or a simple update, language barriers are no longer an obstacle in building a connected school community.

Kinderpedia Now Speaks Arabic

Another great milestone for this year was that Kinderpedia is now available in Arabic, further expanding our mission to support schools and kindergartens in the Middle East and beyond. With a fully localized platform, Arabic-speaking educators can seamlessly manage attendance, grades, tuition, and schedules, while fostering stronger relationships with families through intuitive and accessible tools. For students, the Arabic interface creates a sense of familiarity and belonging, encouraging engagement and a love for learning. This update underscores our commitment to building a truly inclusive platform that bridges gaps and unites diverse educational communities.
