Kinderpedia in 2024: Innovation and Impact in Education

As we reach the end of another remarkable year, it’s time to take a moment, catch our breath, and reflect with gratitude and joy on everything we’ve achieved together!

In 2024, Kinderpedia expanded its presence to 27 countries, bringing together an incredible community of over half a million teachers, students, parents, and educational leaders. Together, we’ve taken meaningful steps toward our mission of transforming education with simple, friendly, and efficient technology.

Schools and kindergartens using Kinderpedia save an average of 1,000 hours every month thanks to automated administrative tasks. This means more time for education and fewer worries! Communication has become clearer, faster, and easier to manage, benefiting both school teams and families.

Features That Simplify Education, Step by Step

In 2024, Kinderpedia introduced numerous updates designed to directly address the needs and ideas of our community. We integrated the platform with e-Factura to comply with new fiscal requirements and make the invoicing process simpler, faster, and more transparent for our users.

We launched automatic translation functionality for over 40 languages, covering newsfeed posts, direct messages, and children's progress evaluations. Additionally, another significant milestone is that our application is now available in Arabic, making it more accessible to an even more diverse audience.

We enhanced the student progress evaluation module with more options for tracking student development. Furthermore, the electronic gradebook now includes detailed statistics, providing teachers and administrators with quick and easy access to all essential information. Read more here about all the improvements made to the platform in 2024.

Next year, we have big plans! We will launch a module for managing incidents and accidents to help schools handle unforeseen situations quickly and transparently. Additionally, we are preparing a new report for check-in/check-out attendance, offering more flexibility and customization.

Everything we do has one goal: to always be by your side and provide tools that truly matter for quality education.

Kinderpedia: A Leader in Education Thanks to Your Support!

We are thrilled to see our efforts reflected in your feedback and the recognition we receive! The fact that 8 out of 10 users log into Kinderpedia daily confirms that our platform is making a difference for schools and kindergartens that choose to streamline their operations with our help.

Your reviews on platforms like G2 and Capterra have propelled us to the top of the most highly-rated EdTech providers, an achievement that honors and motivates us to continue delivering value. In 2024, Kinderpedia was recognized as a G2 Leader in the School Management and Daycare categories, as well as an EMEA Leader in the Classroom Management category. Additionally, we were included in Capterra's top-performing solutions for two categories: K-12 and Daycare.

Strategic Partnerships Driving Impact

We are delighted to celebrate the first year of collaboration with the Association of Private Schools (ASP), with whom we have promoted the digitalization of education through dedicated events and a series of workshops showcasing practical solutions for schools and kindergartens in Romania.

Our presence before the ECNAIS board was another significant opportunity, allowing us to share our vision of how technology can transform education on a European scale.

At the same time, we have strengthened ties with international organizations such as COBIS, AISA, and BSME. Through these partnerships, we address challenges in various regions of the world, offering the Kinderpedia platform as a solution tailored to the unique needs of each school community.

Whether working with international schools in Europe, Africa, or the Middle East, we continue to leverage our expertise and build strong connections that support relevant, future-oriented education. We stand by schools and kindergartens on their journey toward administrative efficiency and closer relationships with parents, wherever they may be.

We Told Your Story Together with Kinderpedia

This year, we documented the impact of Kinderpedia in various schools and kindergartens, such as the Bergman Kindergartens, Step by Step Gymnasium, and Bambi Step by Step Kindergarten. We had the pleasure of engaging with outstanding educational leaders through our Expert Talks series, exploring current challenges and solutions in education.

A special moment was our dialogue with Benjamin Davis, Director of Colina Learning Center in Cluj-Napoca. Together, we discussed how schools can strike a balance between preparing for traditional assessments and developing essential skills. Ben shared valuable insights into innovative learning methods, the role of technology in education, and how we can prepare students for a rapidly changing future.

We also had the privilege of hosting Kevin Bartlett, co-founder of the Common Ground Collaborative and author of Framework for Learning. Kevin brought a transformative vision of the school curriculum to the table, emphasizing a student-centered approach that prioritizes authentic and meaningful learning. We discussed how schools can create an educational environment that inspires curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, using technology as a catalyst for change.

Through these conversations, Kinderpedia continues to be a space for reflection and innovation for educational leaders, contributing to the redefinition of education for future generations.

Kinderpedia Is More Accessible Than Ever

We’ve launched brand-new presentation materials, product videos, and brochures available in Romanian, English, and Portuguese. Reasons for Gratitude

A moment we fondly remember? The feedback about the four buttons in the app—a simple change that brought peace of mind to many new users. “I was afraid of complicated software, but Kinderpedia is so easy to use!” a teacher from Brașov recently told us. And, of course, we’re no strangers to funny questions - “Can Kinderpedia be used for a football club?” Who knows? If we have the right data, we love to test and find out what works best. For us, every feature has an impact - whether it’s supporting e-invoicing in Romania, enhancing the child development module, or improving parent communication functionalities.

Future Plans

2024 was a year when we were closer than ever to the Kinderpedia community—teachers, parents, students, and education leaders. We listened to our users, learned from them, and built solutions together to ease their work and strengthen connections between people.

Looking ahead to 2025, we remain committed to supporting education with innovations that put technology at the service of people. While artificial intelligence is transforming the world around us, the role of teachers remains central. They are the ones who inspire, educate, and shape future generations. Technology won’t replace them but will empower them, offering the tools they need to meet the needs of every child.

In the coming year, we will launch new features - from solutions for staff management to a dedicated module for handling unforeseen situations. Our goal is to help schools create integrated technological ecosystems, providing education leaders with the tools they need for better decisions and more adaptive strategies.

What’s certain? We will continue to innovate, learn, and commit to staying by your side in the year ahead, offering tangible support to make education more relevant, accessible, and connected.
